Here is a great link to the NRA site for air pistol info.
http://www.nrahq.org/compete/airgun.asp
It has info on what type of gun is best for you, various types of ammo, and how to build your own air pistol range. I hope this is helpfull! - Morgan Bost, Webmaster

What 4-H means to me

Just what is 4-H exactly? I asked that question when I joined the Alamance County Shooting Sports 4-H Club last year and you might be asking that question right now. Well, a year later, I can answer that. To me, 4-H is a place where you can have fun, learn new things and make friends. When I went to a shooting sports meeting for the first time, I didn’t know anyone and could barely hit a clay (they’re the orange circles that fly through the air). Now I know everyone there, have good accuracy, and have learned firearm safety.
Just like I found out what 4-Hmeant to me, I'm sure you'll discover what it means to you too. Jackson - 13

December 2011

This month we had a refreshment table at the Graham parade and wrapped presents at Barnes and Noble. We had a regular meeting at Beaver Pond along with a Christmas potluck style meal. The youth in the club played dirty Santa and had a lot of fun being able to steal their friends prized gift. We are looking forward to meeting in January and beginning to prepare for the Trap tournament at Ft. Bragg in March.

WXII news 12

October 25th we met at Beaver Pond Sporting Club with Austin Caviness for a segment taping about our club. Mr. Austin and his cameraman Jeff were very kind and did a great job interacting with the youth and their parents. Mr. Miller cooked lunch for all of us. We all are looking forward to the airing of Austin Outdoors on WXII channel 12.
